  I needed a new battery for my car. Pretty simple purchase. There were two people in the store at the time. One lady greeted me and started the sale process but then some other guy stepped in. He grabbed a tester and went out to check the battery and confirmed it was dead. So far, nothing spectacular. We then went inside to buy the new battery. He told me we could complete the transaction after the battery was swapped out as the final price would be determined by whether or not I returned the old one to him to get rid of the core charge. I told him I had no use for an old battery and would want to leave it with him. He took the new battery to my car, unplugged the old one and installed the new one. Then he left the old one on the curb and walked inside. I asked him if he wanted me to grab the old one to which he replied, "only if you want to exchange it." I mean, we did just have a conversation about this in which I told him that was what I wanted. So I picked up the old one and brought it inside. Just kind of odd to me. Is there some special agency that makes sure I bring the battery inside and this guy doesn't just assume that is what I want? Is he not allowed to tell me that I have to bring it inside to him? I don't know. It just seemed odd. In addition, they took my email and I had to unsubscribe from it as I was getting two emails per day. My advice, go there if you need to, don't look too deeply into the customer service, and do not give them an email address.
